Shred n film recap of last weekends meet and mob with the Out Here Crew and @_drholliday with the footy
Our boy Matt bringing home the WIN in the first annual pie eating comp.
OUR Gnarley Davidson, dual sportster 1200ish chain drive dirt ripper ... We have two rear tires, to get us close to cometition dt1 tire width... That being said dont try this on your own. :) we shaved the fork legs, and shaved every knob on the front to make them fit... man was it worth it! Tahoe showed us some lovin on the trackers first run to the hills.
Snap of AjStunz and I enjoying the large group who came together for this Rad day... Great food, good music, and lots of people with Tom at heart. Watch AJ in action in the video he did in collaboration with our friends over at GoPro below.
They call the 79' the bastard, Many people think its because it is hard to find parts for and other parts were just ones Harley had laying around from other models....which is true... but it really gets its name from the Rear master cylinder being in a location where you can touch it to the ground if you were to go canyon carving. Lefty's Iron Bastard received a new cylindrical oil bag for christmas. This meant Matt had to fab it up, weld it up, and knock it out.
Heres a sporty I picked up for a song. When we showed up at the shop with it in the back of my pick up, it didn't have any signs of ever having a pulse again. This lil lady got the whole go through and is now the Tracker. Thunder header, bored over, ported n polished Axtell jugs, Barnett race clutch, Lockhart oil cooler, 19" front wheel, 18"rear wheel, chain driven, 3'' rise with Tracker style bars, SD custom made Tracker Seat, one off pan, and upholstery repurposed from a klx 110, WOOOOF ! We have a set of 15" shocks for the rear but we're waiting for when we have dirt tires... This bikes an animal !
Bobby's Throttle cable snapped... So he called yo Boyz for some rainy day assistance. This Electra Glide Classic looks great and has an incredible sound system to match. He has left no dime unspent on this bad boy and it shows! You can catch Bobby rollin the streets of Oaktown
The Long Bike finally acquired some foot pegs. We wanted to go a route not many people do so that meant Mid controls on the chopper... Not only Mids but mids higher than a Georgia Pine. That was the only guideline we agreed on... Matt did his thing and twisted up some one off pegs complemented by a rad twisted shifter ! For the Frame I went with a 1970's Playmate. She covers up when the seat is all the way on leaving a little something to look forward to when you have to wrench on your bike. Stay tuned for more Long Bike updates
03 Anniversary Evo engine, Gold leaf sissy, long girder front end and lots of elbow grease.... Stay Tuned and Il go into more detail at a later date
What we did here was took a classic thunder header off an FXR and lobster tailed it to turn it up and made a new 2 into 1 with o2 plugs and re routed the pipes a bit shorter for my EFI Sportster
For all you four speed Sporty guys out therrr... This is what your transmission should be doing if your bike is shifting correctly
I Cant get enough of this area, the colors and the energy in the Haight Asbury is unlike anywhere else.
Horns were snapped in Oakland
